Bigelow appeal denied

The Illinois Supreme Court last week said it will not consider an appeal from an Aurora developer who had sued Kane County Treasurer David Rickert over his rules for property tax payments. The Bigelow Group Inc. sought to reverse two lower court rulings that required the real estate firm to pay taxes on a plot of subdivided land.
