Thanks to generous Exchange Club

I would like to thank the Naperville Exchange Club for its generous holiday contribution to Western DuPage Special Recreation Association and the Drop In Center program held at the Riverwalk Community Center in Naperville. The Drop In Center provides individuals with mental illness an opportunity to spend leisure time together in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. WDSRA provides activities every Wednesday evening. Recently, the group celebrated the holidays with a party. The highlight of the party included carolers, cake and a gift exchange.

The donation made by the Naperville Exchange Club made it possible for each of the 40 clients who attend the program to receive a personalized gift.

I would especially like to thank Dee Bingham and Cindy Allston of the Exchange Club for taking time out of their own busy holiday schedules to shop and wrap each gift so beautifully. The excitement of opening the gifts was unbelievable, not only for the clients, but for all the staff at the program. I have never seen this group smile as much as I did that night. Thank you to the Naperville Exchange club for providing that excitement and showing the clients that there are people who care.
