An idea to save nation $192 million

I overheard someone at the supermarket I work at, that the election will cost about $200 million.

If all 20 original or so candidates had been elected, at the $400,000 salary people get paid to be president, the cost would be about $8 million.

If electing 20 people would save about $192 million, then the election seems to financially and economically be a problem.

All 20 could voice their concerns, give speeches, do clemencies, pardons, appoint governmental officials, write thank-you notes, meet leaders, have dinners, appoint cabinets, shake hands, write executive orders, make calls, negotiate and veto or discuss vetoing bills.

These are jobs that can realistically be done by more than one person. Voting, as in the Supreme Court, could be done to resolve ties.

Media who get paid for advertisements would be one of the sectors I am aware of that would possibly be damaged, but otherwise the idea seems realistic.
