Deveaux's goal wins for Wolves

Center Andre Deveaux snapped a 2-2 tie early in the third period, and center Alexandre Giroux scored 2 power-play goals for the second straight game to lift the Chicago Wolves to a 4-2 victory over the Rockford IceHogs in front of 11,419 at the Allstate Arena on Saturday.

Deveaux's fifth goal of the season -- and first since Nov. 10 -- at the 3:08 mark of the final period held up to be the difference. The 23-year-old forward picked up a loose puck behind the Rockford net and beat IceHogs goaltender Corey Crawford to the near post with a wrap around.

The Wolves 32-13-1-0) trail Rockford (30-12-3-5) by 3 points in the American Hockey League's West Division despite playing four fewer games.
