The Clintons find it wasn't ordained
There is a cynical adage that goes something like "old age and treachery will always triumph over youth and skill."
It came to mind watching one of Bill Clinton's recent outbursts. But a funny thing happened on the way to Hillary's coronation.
Youth cut in line and seems poised to steal the crown.
The race-gender-old liberal alliance is fracturing with implications no one can predict.
This much is certain, the black vote has been taken for granted for a long time and Clintonistas everywhere like the idea of an Obama much better that the real thing.
This is where their treachery will be their undoing.
It is not Obama's youth, charisma or race that is his Achilles heel. It is his utter and complete lack of experience.
Next November, it now seems likely I will do what I have had to do since Reagan retired. I will enter the voting booth, hold my nose and vote for another Republican.
