Take time to find out where to vote

Yesterday, I received official notification from the DuPage County Election Commission informing me where to vote.

The same day, I received the usual candidate fliers from one of the parties with the location of where we have voted in the past.

I rarely give much notice to the location as we have always voted at Bartlett High School. Not so this year.

Wayne Precinct 034 will vote at Poplar Creek Library - Sonya Crawshaw Branch.

Look for your card or contact the county election board for your correct voting location. Take the time to confirm. Your vote, albeit a single vote, allows you to voice your opinions. It is stronger than you think.

Don't vote, don't complain.

Three days ago, my son deployed for the second time in one year with the US Navy. I am an RN and see the chaos in health care today. My husband is in the manufacturing industry whose work has been contracted out to China. Our daughter has a student loan payment that equals a mortgage payment. My annual real estate tax equals that of a small vehicle. I am Mrs. Middle America.

You can bet I will be at the correct place to cast my vote.
