Support Winfield fire district request

Age does bring some not so special things to a person's body causing numerous daily problems. This does not happen to everyone by any means. This letter is to thank all the very nice people who assist me at different times. I go to the post office daily and sometimes the ice is really treacherous and people are so kind in helping me. Opening doors etc.

This letter is also a great big thank you to the Winfield Fire Protection District. Here in Winfield we have a super service that not many villages do. Our fire department folks will inspect a person's home for the proper fire safety equipment needed and where to place the equipment. I thought I had all bases covered, but I did not.

I have the greatest respect for the Winfield fire department. They need our help. Please vote in favor of their referendum.
