Romney far better choice than McCain
Many Republicans are not on the bandwagon for McCain! Why? He has "flip-flopped on his promise to stem the tide of illegal immigrants, now claiming he will put that item "first" on his agenda...yes, to build the fence -- but not send illegal aliens home! No wonder he won in Florida with that voting bloc on his side.
He deliberately, maliciously maligned Romney by claiming he favored a timetable for withdrawal from Iraq which is entirely false -- yet NO newspaper printed what Romney really said!
McCain has abandoned his party to partner with Democrats Kennedy and Feingold on questionable bills. His temper against those who opposed him in Congress is well known, on the border of "irrational", and he now comes across as a "kind old man who loves everybody and would do them no wrong!"? His well-deserved appreciation for wartime captivity does not mean he will automatically choose wise military options!
Romney is a young man -- a fresh, believable voice who has put forth his pledge to enable our economy. Has McCain made a failing U.S. Olympics a success? Helped failing companies to prosper?
Evangelicals ready to dismiss him because he is a Mormon should reconsider. Do any of the other candidates on either side, with the exception of Huckabee, stand for our beliefs? Has any president, and ALL have had some religious belief and acknowledged God in the life of America (I can prove this!). There is no way his church could influence him during his term in office. His morals are high and he will fight for the issues America should embrace. He has but one wife, obedient sons, strong families. He stands against same-sex marriage, homosexual activity, elitist judges.
His desire to serve his country has prompted him to spend a great deal of his personal wealth, not like those who have milked the public of millions! He is a breath of fresh air and perhaps fitted to formidably match the wits of a young candidate on the other side of the political fence!
