Community bank's net income falls

GLEN ELLYN -- Community Financial Shares Inc., the holding company for Community Bank of Wheaton/Glen Ellyn, reported net income for its most recent quarter fell to $11,000, down from $605,000 from last year at this time. Net interest income before loan losses decreased 11.3 percent, to $2.1 million.
