Wrap: Judson's Bojanic named NCCAA player of week

For the second week in a row, a Judson University player has earned the NCCAA National Player of the Week as senior Ilija Bojanic was honored this week. Bojanic helped lead Judson to sole possession of first place in the CCAC.

Bojanic has averaged 18.0 points per game and 9.0 rebounds per game en route to helping Judson to a 13-6 record and 6-0 in the CCAC. He recorded his fifth double-double of the year with 16 points and 12 rebounds versus Calumet College. Bojanic then had his second best scoring effort of the year with 20 points against Trinity Christian College along with a career-high 6 steals.

Judson hosts Purdue-North Central on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Girls basketball

Genoa-Kingston 54, Elgin Academy 45: In nonconference action the Hilltoppers (8-16) battled but fell to Genoa-Kingston. Leading EA was Alyssa Pena, who collected 13 points. Bianca Swegler also added 11 points for the Hilltoppers with 13 rebounds.
