Why does Oprah support Obama?

Barack Obama wants everyone to think of him as a presidential candidate who happens to be African-American.

I did, but I don't any more.

My change of mind came when Oprah Winfrey endorsed Sen. Obama saying he is the first-ever candidate she could really commit too and it had nothing to do with race.

Give me a break. It's hard to believe that in all these years, Oprah couldn't find one other candidate to get behind.

The fact that the senator is the first African-American to run during that time has to be more than coincidence.

Apparently Oprah believes she can say anything and the public will swallow it hook, line and sinker.

Given her propensity to have her name or photo on everything with which she is connected, I wonder if Sen. Obama wins the election, if he will forever be introduced as, "Oprah Winfrey presents President Obama."

I hope not. I like the guy, but I'm beginning to doubt I can take any more Oprah.
