Vote to end pricey Kane governance
In this upcoming primary we have an opportunity to help our pocketbooks. For the last three years under the chairmanship of Karen McConnaughay, the county budget has nearly tripled, with no real results. The county board members are overpaid for their part-time jobs. These same board members seem intimidated by McConnaughay by not reacting to the over-the-top spending by her administration.
We have an obligation in this election to replace tax and spend Kane County government with new conservative board member replacements.
First, replace McConnaughay with fiscal conservative Jim MacRunnels. Then elect Tina Yagla in the 14th District and Andrew E. "Drew" Frasz in the 26th District.
Look carefully in your county board district to determine whether those candidates looking for re-election or election are truly prepared to be the conservative representatives who will stand up against a very expensive way of governing.
Vote your pocketbook on Tuesday.
