Minutemen should support Oberweis

As the former director of the Illinois Minuteman Project, I know there is no other choice but Jim Oberweis in the 14th U.S. House District.

Oberweis has shown leadership and vision and was willing to take the heat for telling the truth about illegal immigration in Illinois.

While Jim will say his commercials on illegal immigration were too harsh, we who live in Illinois know they were not harsh enough. The taxpayers of Illinois now spend $305 billion a year on services for illegal aliens.

Why hasn't the Illinois legislature stopped this? Is there no one in Springfield who will take up this issue?

Let's give the successful, admirable Oberweis a chance to bring success to Illinois. Oberweis has always supported the Minutemen and has shown up to our meetings when invited.

He has always shown his full support for grassroots activist who have fought illegal immigration in Illinois. Now it is time for Minutemen types to support him.
