Milan best suited to be state's attorney

I believe Bob Milan is the best and most qualified candidate for state's attorney.

Every day, people read about politics interfering with public service.

Bob Milan is not interested in politics. Bob Milan is not a politician.

Milan is a career prosecutor; he started at the bottom and worked his way to the top.

He has prosecuted every type of crime imaginable. No one is better suited to lead the prosecutor's office than a prosecutor who has been through the ranks and knows exactly how the law works.

Milan has obtained numerous convictions, all types of cases. However, he is not a person interested only in convictions.

Milan led the Cook County state's attorney's office through the injustices of wrongful convictions. He has developed and implemented procedures to avoid false confessions and police corruption.

No other candidate can compare to the experience and leadership Bob Milan has shown in the state's attorney's office fight against crime and strive for justice.

Candidates for public office often talk about how they are going to do things different if elected to office. Milan is already making those changes as state's attorney Richard Devine's First Assistant.

In order for Cook County to become a safe community that ensures justice to all, Milan must be state's attorney.
