Good choices for conservative voters

The Kane County Conservative Coalition was established in 2002 to educate voters on the best conservative options on the ballot. We endorse:

State Senator Chris Lauzen for Congress. There has been no public servant more committed and true to the cause of conservative principles and values. Combine that with his passion for constituent service and you have a candidate we can all be proud of.

Kane County Board Chairman candidate Jim MacRunnels is asking tough questions about the waste in county government. The new jail is already too small and expensive, and our new animal control facility is too big and expensive. Jim's opponent once cared about the people at the grassroots, but is now an establishment politician who has forgotten where she came from.

Terry Hunt is the only candidate for state House District 50 who brings a background as a business and farm owner. He has never run for political office before or taken a paid political job. He is for a true citizen government, one that puts people ahead of the powerful special interests.

In state House District 49, the incumbent was once a conservative, but he forgot the people who put him in office. Jim Krenz is a self-made man who is a staunch fiscal and social conservative. He truly enjoys meeting with and listening to people.

Andrew "Drew" Frasz in county board District 26, is a business owner and community activist and volunteer who is challenging Jan Carlson. Frasz has been running a grassroots campaign, listening to, and speaking with, the voters directly. Carlson is a political dinosaur, steeped in the old ways of clout and bully politics.

In county board District 14, Tina Yagla has spoken eloquently and passionately on waste and spending issues She faces one-term incumbent Mark Davoust. Her professional education and work experience is as an engineer. Davoust voted for a board pay raise and was absent the day of the vote to site the new jail in his district.
