Weiss Group takes over Florida firm

DES PLAINES -- The Weiss Group Inc., a full-service retirement plan provider, announced that the firm's principals, Haskel B. Weiss and Adam R. Weiss, have acquired the assets of Jim Poekert & Associates Inc., a retirement administration firm specializing in the design and implementation of qualified retirement plans and located in Tarpon Springs, Fla. To complete the acquisition, a new firm, TWG of Florida Inc. was formed. The firm will continue to do business as Jim Poekert & Associates.
