Case made for 'yes' vote in District 203

Keep it in perspective! We have done quite a bit of research on the upcoming District 203 referendum -- looked at the pros and cons, taken a tour of the high school, read the literature. The average homeowner tax bill will increase by $82 a year.

We've also given some thought as to where the average Naperville homeowner could spend $82 a year, and here are some of the alternatives found:

One Big Mac Value Meal a month for a year. Two medium Starbucks Chi teas a month for one year. Six pizzas from Lou Malnati's. One-year subscription to People magazine.

The District 203 facilities improvement referendum.

We hope everyone can look at this in its correct perspective and approve the much-needed facilities plan!

It will benefit each individual -- and the whole community -- so much more than any of the other alternatives. The effect on your property value alone will be significantly more than $82. Vote yes.
