Golden sound choice for judicial position
Many people may wonder if the numerous honors awarded to Judge Patricia Golden reflect the much-needed judicial temperament and legal skill a circuit judge requires.
More than 10 years as a judge implies that Golden deserves to retain the seat to which she was unanimously appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court. But any doubts should now be put to rest.
A survey of the very people who ought to know, the Illinois State Bar Association, resulted in her being the only candidate recommended in the Feb. 5 Republican primary.
