District 158 owes Lou Bianchi thanks

I would like to share my personal experiences with current McHenry County State's Attorney Lou Bianchi.

Bianchi and his office hosted two events that I participated in.

The first was for the Ted Spella Leadership School and the second was for elected officials on the Illinois Open Meetings Act.

I was extremely impressed with him and his staff at each of these organized and informative meetings.

More importantly to the residents of District 158 was his (and his office's) immediate and effective response on several occasions to our state aid matter.

District 158 was in desperate need of his office's review and direction on this technical tax matter.

The assistance from his office preserved $1 million per year in state aid for District 158, which was in serious jeopardy until he stepped up for the district.

The residents of District 158 owe Lou Bianchi and his staff a big thank you, and I hope you will consider his efforts on behalf of the district when you vote on Feb. 5.
