Vote for Moynihan, the true Democrat
To the editor: At a recent candidate forum I had the opportunity to hear both Democratic candidates running for state representative of the 56th District.
After hearing both candidates it is crystal clear which one is the best one for the position. That was the REAL Democrat John Moynihan. It was obvious that Froehlich is nothing more than a Republican running as a Democrat for the sole purpose of winning because he knows he cannot win as a Republican.
He is not running because of his Democratic beliefs. It was almost painful to watch Froehlich try to pass himself off as a Democrat.
John Moynihan will bring the change that is so desperately needed in the state of Illinois. He will provide the representation of the people and not the insider power elite of a party. Putting people before party is what the people need in our Representatives to get out of the politic quagmire that has stalemated progress in this state.
A real and true blue Democrat is what the Democrats of Schaumburg Township deserve and, unlike his opponent, John is a life-long real Democrat. A person like John brings a breath of fresh air with no political baggage or obligation. He is not dedicated to any power hungry leader in the Democratic Party. This is the type of representative who can work both sides of the aisle to affect the change in the direction of the state.
It is a time for change and John Moynihan will deliver that change. I ask every Democrat, and any Republican who feels betrayed, to vote for John Moynihan for state representative in the 56th District in the Feb. 5 Democratic Primary Election.
