Vote Golden for judge on Feb. 5

Judge Patricia Golden is currently running for a judgeship in the 2nd Subcircuit of the 16th Judicial Circuit.

As a Kane County assistant public defender, I was assigned to Golden's courtroom, which was a place where respect for the court and our legal system was always what she commanded.

Golden reminds me very much of my mother. Both are people who respect others regardless of race or financial or social backgrounds.

Golden treats everyone with dignity, while commanding respect in a manner that never degrades or diminishes the other person.

I loved working with her and I hope that I can someday handle situations with the same grace and confidence.

Golden has served the people of the 16th Circuit for many years, and has earned the opportunity to continue to serve for many more years as Circuit Judge.
