Pingree Grove

A 20-year-old Pingree Grove man was airlifted to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge Saturday afternoon after paramedics said he lost his footing while on the garage roof and hit his head on an unknown object. Pingree Grove fire paramedic Bill Misner said the man climbed off the roof after the accident and went to his room, where he collapsed. Misner said relatives found the man unconscious. It is not known why the man was on the roof, or what he hit his head on.

Algonquin

Algonquin police are looking for two suspects in a red Honda wanted in connection with an armed robbery late Friday night. Police said two men were approached about 10:30 p.m. Friday night on the 500 block of E. Algonquin Road. The victims told police the suspects implied that they had a handgun and ordered the victims to hand over their wallets and a cell phone. The suspects were last seen in a red Honda, police said.
