Vote for experience on county board
The residents of DuPage County cannot afford to give on-the-job training to DuPage County board candidates Laura Fitzpatrick and Anna Marie Manzo that they will require to serve as DuPage County board members.
Fitzpatrick and Manzo have little experience in public service and in these tough economic times we need board members with commitment, strong leadership and experience. Although Fitzpatrick is a member of the Lombard village board, she has only served as a board member for just over eight months and has limited experience in public service.
Fitzpatrick should concentrate on serving out the term her constituents elected her to serve and fulfill the promises she made to the residents of Lombard when she ran for office in 2007.
In 2007, her commitment to her constituents and the village of Lombard was for four years, now she wants to leave her village board position after only serving for just over eight months. I question whether her commitment to the residents of DuPage County and the county board would be the same.
In these tough economic times we need committed experienced leaders such as candidates Brien Sheahan and Patrick O'Shea. They have my vote and they deserve yours.
