Oberweis offers best chance of change

I'm a proud member of the Teamsters union, but I will not be voting for any of the congressional Democratic candidates.

All they talk about is change, but what are they really going to change?

They only want to take more money from me and give it to programs that support illegal immigration. This is a real problem, and it needs to be solved.

Schools are cutting programs to prepare our children for the future because they need to hire ESL teachers.

We send our taxes to pay for aid to these people who have broken our laws instead of improving our roads and supporting our citizens.

Chris Lauzen seems to echo the Democrats' tone, as well. He says we need to change, but then doesn't propose any changes. I've heard him say we need to keep the same programs for a few years before we do anything.

How is this change?

Jim Oberweis, on the other hand, has a real plan to change our laws and make it harder for illegal immigrants to stay in this country.

We need that kind of change and I will be voting for him on Feb. 5.
