See art for free next month
Art lovers are in luck. The Art Institute of Chicago is offering free general admission for the entire month of February. Institute officials say when the weather is at its worst this winter, visitors can stay warm indoors at the facility in Chicago's downtown. There will be a charge for some special exhibitions. Those include one with works by Edward Hopper and Winslow Homer. The museum is open daily until 5 p.m. and until 8 p.m. on Thursdays. It is located on 111 S. Michigan Ave.
