Laesch right man in 14th House District

I'm voting for John Laesch on Feb. 5 in the Democratic primary and special primary.

Laesch is the best person to represent Illinois' 14th Congressional District. He's a union carpenter who knows what working families need because he's among them.

Laesch has invaluable insights as a veteran who served in the Middle East as an intelligence analyst. Not only does he understand the intricacies of the region, but he supports our troops enough to want them home.

Laesch recognizes the immigration system is dysfunctional, but he thinks fear and division are not part of the solution.

And he's just a plain, decent and honest guy. I voted for John Laesch for Congress in 2006. Although he was a first-time candidate, Laesch convinced 40 percent of the voters that he could represent the people of Illinois better than the speaker of the House.

None of his opponents this year match up to John Laesch, let alone the speaker of the House.
