Microelectronics sales up 14 percent

AURORA -- Cabot Microelectronics Corp. on Thursday reported its revenue reached $93.4 million, up 14 percent from the year earlier. A supplier of chemical polishing slurries to the semiconductor industry, Cabot reported a net income for the quarter was $12.2 million, up 33.7 percent from the same quarter last year.
