Naperville, Aurora Wi-Fi deal collapses

Naperville and Aurora are exploring their options to provide free wireless internet to residents after MetroFi abandoned its plans to extend its free service throughout the two cities.

The company currently provides service in nearly 20 percent of Aurora, select areas along Route 59 and downtown Naperville.

MetroFi will maintain the current network while the two cities consider other providers.
