Railroad just a greedy corporation

To the editor: This corporate giant is trying an end run on our communities. They must be stopped. This would be such an injustice if it is allowed to happen. Our present situation as it stands is a traffic nightmare. We have two main, two-lane arteries that service our community and the slightest accident or traffic overload shuts down everything down for miles.

The trains bisect the entire town. We have been addressing the problems with the trains and their effect on our community for years. The present commuter and freight trains are already a huge problem. We do not have alternate routes to avoid trains.

Let's not forget about the safety effects on all our school children, the pollution, or the risk of disaster. This is absurd that this is even being considered. Tell them NO and do not let them destroy a safe, friendly town for the sake of a greedy corporation!

Please tell the news-reading world what is really going on here and the stakes that are at risk.
