Jim Krenz mailing turns this voter off

As the election season heats up, I have received lots of mail from candidates asking for my support. One piece that really upset me was from Jim Krenz, a Carpentersville resident running against state Rep. Tim Schmitz.

First of all, I've never heard of Krenz. He then has the nerve to attack someone who I respect, someone that has been there for us: Tim Schmitz.

Anytime I've ever reached out to Schmitz, I've gotten a straight answer. I like the fact that he is accessible. Contrary to the attack piece sent out by his opponent, Tim is strongly opposed to illegal immigration and is pro-life -- issues that matter to me. Tim Schmitz also produces for our community at a time when it's difficult for anything to get done.

I was just turned off. Tim Schmitz gets my support on election day.
