Drivers, review 'Rules of the Road'
It is discouraging to a long-time driver like this one to go out to run a few errands and find most of the other drivers have completely forgotten the "Rules of the Road."
When I stopped behind a school bus today, which had its "stop" sign out , the driver behind me honked at me!
Yesterday, at the intersection of Wilke Road and Algonquin Road, two vehicles decided to turn left in front of me and the driver next to me. The other driver and I yielded the right of way, preferring that to having at least four vehicles damaged.
Please, drivers, review those "Rules of the Road" and the common courtesy we all should extend to each other. Is it really that important that you feel it necessary to risk accidents, injury to yourself and others and a traffic ticket?
It's no wonder that senior citizens in this area are heralding the free rides that have now been signed into law. Not only will they be saving money, they are probably saving their lives!
