Jurors tapped for quadruple murder trial

After four grueling days of jury selection, lawyers have picked six jurors for the DuPage County trial of a former Naperville man accused of killing his parents, sister and brother-in-law.

The legal teams return Wednesday to continue questioning jurors in the death penalty case. They still need six more jurors and four alternates. Many of the potential jurors released said they could never impose a death sentence, regardless of the situation.

Officials say Eric C. Hanson, 31, is accused of killing his family in September 2005 after they learned he had stolen at least $80,000 from his parents in forged checks and credit cards.

Opening statements should begin the last week of the month.
