Grease fire at Arlington Heights restaurant

A grease fire broke out at Boston Blackie's restaurant Saturday night, forcing customers out about 9 p.m.

The Arlington Heights Fire Department was at the restaurant at 222 E. Algonquin Road for about an hour. The fire started in one of the deep fat fryers, according to department officials, and was contained to the kitchen.

The department turned the restaurant over to the health department after the fire was put out. That department will determine if the restaurant can open back up today.
