Wilson, Maniscalco boost Bradley

Theron Wilson scored a game-high and career-high 28 points to help host Bradley edge Evansville 77-76 at the Carver Arena Saturday night.

Jeremy Crouch chipped in 18 points and had 7 rebounds for Bradley (9-10, 2-5 Missouri Valley), while Sam Maniscalco added 13 points and 6 assists. Wilson made 10 of 17 shots and 4 of 5 free throws.

Maniscalco gave Bradley its slim margin with 10.4 seconds remaining, and Crouch swooped in to dribble out the clock. The win snapped a five-game losing streak for the Braves.

Jason Holsinger had a team-high 23 points and 8 assists for the Purple Aces (5-12, 0-7) on 6-of-7 shooting. He also had 5 rebounds and was 5 of 7 from the free-throw line. The only other Evansville players in double figures were Shy Ely with 20 points and Darin Granger with 14.

SIU 63 , Wichita St. 52: Forward Randal Falker scored a game-high 15 points to lead host Southern Illinois past Wichita State.

Joshua Bone and Bryan Mullins each added 11 points for the Salukis (9-9, 4-3 Missouri Valley).

Gal Mekel led the Shockers (8-10, 1-6 Missouri Valley) in scoring with 12 points and hit 5 of 6 free throws. Mantas Griskenas chipped in 11 points and had 5 rebounds.

Southern Illinois went into the half with a 30-23 advantage. The Shockers tied the game 32-32 early in the second half, but the Salukis came back with a 13-2 run.

Chi. St. 79, N.J. Tech 62: John Cantrell scored 17 points, including 6 rebounds, to lead host Chicago State past New Jersey Tech.

Carl Montgomery added 14 points, including 8 rebounds, and Walton Tawrence came off the bench to score 13 points, including five free throws, for the Cougars (7-14).

Nesho Milosevic scored a game-high 20 points with 10 rebounds for the Highlanders (0-20).

Cent. Michigan 77, NIU 63: Giordan Watson had a season-high 29 points, and host Central Michigan defeated Northern Illinois.

The Chippewas (7-9, 2-2 Mid-American Conference West) forced the Huskies (4-12, 1-3) into 23 turnovers, resulting in 22 points.

The Huskies were led by Darion Anderson, who had 22 points off the bench. Sean Smith had 10 points and 5 rebounds.

Tennessee St. 79, EIU 72: Bruce Price and Gerald Robinson both netted 20 points to help push host Tennessee State. past Eastern Illinois.

LaDarious Weaver hit 15 points, while Darius Cox added 10 points for Tennessee St. (8-10, 5-4 Ohio Valley).

Jon'Tee Willhite led the Panthers (2-16, 1-9) with 19 points and 9 rebounds, and Bobby Catchings added 18 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.

Oral Roberts 76, WIU 55: Marcus Lewis made all 6 of his shots from the field and had 13 points with 6 rebounds to help lead host Oral Roberts (12-5, 7-0) past Western Illinois in the Summit League.

Jerryck Owens-Murrey and David Jackson paced the Leathernecks (8-10, 3-4) with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Owens-Murrey had a game-high 10 rebounds.
