BGHS: Do the right thing
All these years Buffalo Grove High School has been a part of my life. It is my home.
Buffalo Grove High School may have just hurt a lot of their family members. In recent news they have decided not to hire Coach Kip North to be the head coach at Buffalo Grove High School. Coach North has now been at Buffalo Grove High School for six years. He understands what Buffalo Grove is all about and more important what Buffalo Grove football means to a lot of us former players.
For Buffalo Grove High School not to hire someone from the school is just an outrage. He knows what blue and orange is and it is in his blood. For so many people to be upset do you really think it was the right decision not to hire? He is more than just a coach. He is someone to look up to, someone that will be there for anyone, someone who again understands Buffalo Grove High School.
Another coach that is being let go is Coach Tom Dineen. He brought the women's basketball team to state over and over again. He should decide when he wants to get away from the game. For everything he has done for our school Buffalo Grove will just say goodbye because he is now retired. Buffalo Grove High School has lost the meaning of family. Buffalo Grove is supposed to do what is right.
So if there are any parents or students reading this please be heard and write to Dr. David R. Schuler the superintendent. Tell Buffalo Grove your true feelings. Buffalo Grove High School, do the right thing here.
