John Laesch best leader for the times
I have been reading the Web sites of candidates for the 14th District and thinking how each of them reflects or fails to reflect a response to the clear hunger among independent voters as well as most Democrats and many Republicans for change.
In the 14th District, I believe that if we want the kind of change that will put ordinary citizens first, John Laesch is the candidate we should elect.
It is also particularly important to me that John has spent time living overseas. His parents were missionaries in West Africa and he served in the Middle East in the U.S. Navy.
I think it helps him to see the U.S. more objectively and free himself from the myths that have characterized our foreign policy of late. He has the imagination to see us as others do and help shape policy accordingly.
I believe that we badly need a change, but not just for the sake of change. We should be sure candidates we elect have policies that will help resolve the most significant challenges we face as a nation and will help create a country of which we can all be proud.
I think John Laesch should be one of those leaders.
