Teachers can win grants

Pre-kindergarten to high school educators in the Chicago area will be awarded $750,000 in grants and scholarships through the A+ for Energy program, which recognizes innovative energy education programs. In addition to receiving grants of $5,000 or $10,000 to implement programs, teachers will attend a three-day Energy Educator Training Conference in California.
