Campton Hills to conduct special census

Need a part-time job? The village of Campton Hills just might have one for you.

Officials are on the lookout for potential head-counters to help conduct the village's first special census.

There are between 25 and 30 positions immediately available for about three weeks' worth of work. Hourly pay ranges from $10.50 to $15.25, depending on the job.

Applicants must be 18 or older and available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week on days, nights and some weekends. They must also pass a basic skill exam, attend a three-day training session and have a valid driver's license and reliable car.

There are positions for enumerators, crew leaders, field supervisors, a clerk and an administrative assistant.

Applications are available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at village hall, 40W115 Campton Crossings Drive, Unit B, in Wasco.
