Forget the rhetoric and just vote

As the primaries continue and we see changes in strategy, I wonder what exactly is really going on in the minds of these potential candidates.

I for one, after two of them, am already tired of the rhetoric and the promises. Oh yes, change. Do they really tell you what they want to change? No!

I don't think I will be able to handle 48 more of these so called changes. In the years I myself have voted, I have seen changes and some are good and others not so good.

One of the biggest changes is in health care. The Democrats would like universal health care. Are they for real? Do they know what they are talking about? I seriously doubt it. Medicare is a big fat mess and no one is doing anything about that or are they concerned about Social Security which they keep dipping into.

Who is minding the shop while these senators are on the road? We have a transportation crisis in the state of Illinois and it seems it's put on the backburners.

My comment to all the voters in all 48 states is to vote. Do not let a pretty face or a smooth talker sway your votes. Think about all the issues even the Iraq war. Don't complain if your candidate doesn't get in because you have not voted. Keep your cool. Vote, vote, and vote.
