Help children learn to stand firm in their faith

"The Challenge of Raising Our Children to be In the World but Not of It," will be discussed by Jim and Cindy McDermott, publishers of "Salt Magazine," from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 22 at the Elk Grove Village Library, 1001 Wellington Ave., Elk Grove Village.

The talk will focus on developing a heart for God and helping children to stand firm in their faith outside the home. The program is hosted by the Home Educators Loving Parents homeschool support group.

This presentation is intended for adults and child care is not provided. Children may sit next to their parents at the meeting.
