Thoughts about Graham, eulogy

I am a 50-year resident of Libertyville, living many years in what is now Green Oaks.

I was a single parent many years ago when Mike Graham was county supervisor and he came to my aid in a time of need. I was always saddened by the money-hungry people who fought his open space plans because it interfered with their own agenda.

I read during his eulogy he quoted the following snippet: "Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money."
