Hamlett new Fire coach

According to published reports, longtime assistant coach Denis Hamlett has accepted an offer to become head coach of the Chicago Fire. Hamlet, a Fire assistant for 10 years, replaces Juan Carlos Osario and becomes the fourth coach in franchise history. Osario didn't stick around long after being brought in to replace Dave Sarachan on June 20. Hamlett has been on the Fire staff since the team's inception in 1998.
