70 agents assigned to Peterson case

Although the case isn't getting as much attention as in past weeks, officials of the Illinois State Police said a team of agents continues to investigate the disappearance of Stacy Peterson. Trooper Mark Dorencz said Wednesday that at any given time, between 70 and 80 agents are assigned to the investigation. He said nearly 1,300 tips have been received, from which about 500 leads have been generated. Peterson has been missing since Oct. 28. In November, police labeled her disappearance a possible homicide
