Candidates to take part in forum Jan. 16

On Jan. 16, candidates for the U.S. House, Illinois House, Kane County Board President and the Judicial 16th Circuit 2nd Subcircuit-Elgin will speak from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the East Dundee village hall annex, 120 Barrington Ave.

The event is hosted by the Dundee Township Republican Central Committee and moderated by committee chairman Margaret Scalfaro.

Invitees include judicial candidates David Akemann and Patricia Golden; U.S. 14th Congressional District candidates Jim Oberweis and Chris Lauzen; Illinois House District 49 candidates Jim Krenz and Timothy Schmitz; and Kane County Board President candidates Jim MacRunnels and Karen McConnaughay.
