Experience, values represent Seals

The Iowa presidential caucus victory of Democrat Barack Obama is the first sign of real, positive change: personal insight, integrity, and real-world experience trumped Washington political experience. And you may have a chance to participate in a fight for Washington, on these same terms, well before November. Unfortunately, I won't be able to, which is why I'm writing this letter.

Dan Seals is running for Congress in the 10th District, and I live in the city. I can't vote for him. But, if I can convince just a couple more people to vote for him, then I'll have done some good for our country.

I haven't spoken to Dan in years. We were locker partners in high school. Dan was always level-headed, intelligent, insightful, and he kept his word. As a teenager! I believe his mother, a social worker, was instrumental in bringing these qualities out in him. I briefly worked with her while in college, through the Community Health Department at UIUC.

Dan the man has added real-world experience on top of his core values. I encourage you to learn more about him at www.dansealsforcongress.com.

Then vote for him!
