Congress's role is not to investigate

Sen. Dick Durbin is asking the U.S. Attorney General to investigate the destruction of CIA tapes. This is how it should be, according to our Constitution. Congress should be totally out of the investigative phase of our government.

Also, the power to impeach the president should be given to the electors. Why? Because until the final form of our Constitution was written, our president was to be elected for one seven-year term by the Congress and removable (impeached) by the Congress for misbehavior. The eleven delegates who wrote the final form of our Constitution decided to have state legislators choose electors, who would then vote for our president. But they failed to give impeachment power to the electors.
