Tornado, flood watches in effect

The unusually warm weather today is leading to a number of weather watches for the area.

A tornado watch is in effect until 9 p.m. for most of the area. Severe weather has moved through the area this afternoon and could continue again tonight.

Also, a flood watch is in effect until 9:45 p.m., as heavy rains combined with the ground saturated my melting snow could create flooding conditions in low-lying areas.
