U.S. will side once again with dictator

As Pakistan boils over and control of its nuclear arsenal teeters, we once again see the results of the U.S. policy of propping up another dictator.

All Pervez Musharraf cares about is maintaining himself in power forever. Whether he had Bhutto killed or allowed her to be killed by others does not matter.

If it truly was al-Qaida who carried out her murder, how has Osama bin Laden been allowed safe haven in Pakistan for six years with little effort by the Pakistanis or the Bush administration to pursue him?

My money goes on the U.S. continuing to support a dictator in Pakistan who will not hold free and fair elections any time soon and who allowed his opponent who was poised to win a fair election to be murdered.

Once again, the U.S. is all about spreading democracy and freedom. More hypocrisy.
