Let me introduce man of community

I cannot understand why a "certain" man is disliked or misunderstood by some people when actually he does so much good for the area. Who spends ten of millions of dollars to revitalize dilapidated areas of the village? Who has bought homes, remodeled them and rented them to people so they have a nice place to live?

Any time anyone needs a sponsor (money), they come to this man and with a smile, he opens his checkbook and starts writing. Good for the community? I think so.

This certain man also employs hundreds of happy, productive people who leave work with a smile. Over the fence in the backyard people say, "Oh, they are all illegal over there." Oh, yeah? You try to pass the tests you take when filling out a job application. He could pack up and leave, but he truly likes it here and he loves his employees. He knows them all.

He could spend his money on a lavish lifestyle, huge mansion, $5,000 suits, race horses, etc. But, no, he doesn't. He puts his money back into the community.

He is at work every day just like you and me.

Personally, I think he is a considerate, generous individual who has our best interest at heart. He has helped me and you, too. The next time you're at any free or community event, chances are this man has helped in some way.

When you drive down Main Street in old town Carpentersville or ride the bike path and say, "Oh, it looks so nice here," it's because of this man and his goal to revitalize Carpentersville.

The man's name is Tom Roeser, president of Otto Engineering. Think about it.
