David Bryant, Batavia

With Batavia trailing Elgin 49-48, this junior guard drained a 3-pointer with 1.5 seconds left for a 51-49 victory in the Elgin Holiday Tournament. Two days later in the championship game of that tournament and Batavia down 44-40 in the final minute, Bryant made a 3-pointer, stole a pass, and hit another 3-pointer that gave Batavia another thrilling come-from-behind and its second Elgin tournament title in three years.

Victoria Alvarez, Rosary

The senior guard earned MVP honors at the Oswego Holiday Classic after scoring 53 points in 4 games. This was the first time Rosary won this tournament, and the Royals were the only girls team in the Tri-Cities Area to win a tournament this year.
